Higher Up's 2024 program placed 30 students from Hightstown and East Windsor, NJ in meaningful summer jobs and internships with 24 local businesses. This gave young people hands-on experience, professional skills and confidence to pursue their career goals. Higher Up takes a personalized approach to youth workforce development by offering: tailored job placement by matching students with roles that fit their skills and aspirations; a readiness program to prepare students in areas including resume writing, interview preparation, business etiquette, personal finance and wellness; and ongoing mentorship and support to help students navigate workplace challenges and maximize their potential.
