  • Seafood Nutrition Education Program

    Educate Americans about the health benefits of eating seafood: In an effort to educate Americans about the health benefits and break down barriers about seafood, the Seafood Nutrition Partnership (SNP) conducts education and outreach programs across the country. In 2022, education and awareness building of seafood's essential nutrients were conducted through digital marketing campaigns, webinars, website, videos, and social media. Hybrid and virtual conferences included State of the Science Symposium and RDN Educational Webinars. As a result of this work, SNP is galvanizing a broad segment of the seafood sector to catalyze markets and consumer behavior change for sustainable seafood. See Schedule O for continuation

  • National Seafood Council Task Force

    In 2022, SNP convened the National Seafood Council Task Force to educate the industry and policymakers on the public health benefits of eating seafood and the merits of educating American consumers on the health and nutritional benefits of eating seafood. 42 seafood companies joined the National Seafood Council Task Force to encourage industry peers to support a National Seafood Promotion Campaign.
