ASSIST:Emergency Assistance: Keeps kids stable and in their homes by providing food and basic needs, eviction prevention and utility shutoff prevention to families in crisis. For the year ended June 30, 2018, we provided rent assistance to 49 families and utility assistance to 59 families. Our pantry also provided assistance to 2,193 people by providing food, gift card for groceries, toiletries, school supples, quilts and misc items. Adopt-A-Family: Provides assistance by matching families in need with sponsors who provide food and gifts for Christmas. CLOTHING CHILDREN AND THEIR FAMILIES: Clothes-4-Kids Provides children with vouchers for new back-to-school clothes so they can begin their school year confident and ready to learn. For the year ended June 30, 2018, we were able to provide vouchers to 512 students helping 249 families. Thrift Culture The Bellevue LifeSpring Thrift Culture provides good-quality used clothing, shoes and household goods at affordable prices. Vouchers are given to families who cannot afford to pay. FEEDING CHILDREN AND THEIR FAMILIES: Breaktime-Mealtime (BTMT) The program distributes boxes of food during the school breaks for children enrolled in the federal free and reduced-price lunch program. For the year ended June 30, 2018, 7,011 children were served helping 3,455 families for a total of 99,320 meals. We also provide snacks for summer school.
