  • The Backpack Project

    Participate in a local school-based program called "The Backpack Project," whereby the Foundation purchased food to be placed in backpacks of needy children in one particular elementary school in southeast Portland, Oregon, so that those children could have supplemental food for the weekend. Each month, the Foundation alternates with several other local charities to provide these food supplies. The program each month benefits approximately 50 students.
