  • Bridges Summer STEAM Academy

    Bridges Summer STEAM Academy is a 5-week program designed to provide students entering the 6th through 12th grade in the Fall with academic and social enrichment support to prepare them for the new academic school year. The goal of the program is to enhance students' math skills and foster a college-going culture in a safe, growth-oriented, and social-emotional learning environment. Under this program, we offer the CSU Summer Algebra Institute for rising 6th through 10th-grade students. In addition, the program is designed to enhance students' knowledge and application of effective learning strategies, increase their preparedness for Algebra and Geometry classes, improve their capacity to pass these classes with a minimum grade of B, and boost students' self-esteem. During 2024, the program served 85 students.
