Employment Training and Support Programs
Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act Formula funds (CFDA 17.258, 17.259, and 17.278). These federal grant programs provide training and support to individuals who have lost their jobs, have barriers to finding employment or do not have the basic skills needed to obtain employment. ARPA Cluster (CFDA 21.027). Pacific Mountain Workforce Development Council was awarded as a sub-award under the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds (SLRF) from Thurston County, WA. These funds were used to support the workforce and nonprofits in recovery activities including employment support programs.
