Membership Services and Advocacy
MEMBERSHIP SERVICES: The Chamber serves as an advocate for local business, advocating for the best environment for business by promoting economic strength and growth for Interior Alaska while developing a networking hub to use and share knowledge. Networking opportunities include: weekly membership luncheons with guest speaker presentations of issues of importance to businesses and the community, Business After Hours events, the Chamber's annual Operation Standing Together event, and the Chamber's weekly e-newsletter. GOLDEN DAYS - This community event pays tribute to the Pioneer Days of Fairbanks, and honors some of Fairbanks' historical residents. RECOGNITION: The Chamber honors excellence in the community in volunteerism, education and business leadership. Additionally, the Chamber's annual Military Appreciation Banquet honors military personnel from Interior Alaska who have been honored for their excellence, leadership, and commitment in service to our armed forces.
