  • Corner Farms Family Support Program

    CORNER FARMS IS DEDICATED TO HELPING FAMILIES OVERCOME SOME OF LIFE'S TOUGHEST CHALLENGES, BY WORKING WITH TEENS TO REACH GOALS AND OVERCOME RELATIONSHIP CHALLENGES AND CRISES.PROGRAM ACCOMPLISHMENTS DURING 2024 INCLUDED:Program Accomplishments during 2024 included:We counseled roughly 80 teens during individual sessions and by phone or zoom.We helped 41 families that were short on rent, food, utilities or other life necessities and coached them through how to budget for the coming months.We paid for new HVAC systems for Veterans through the VFW.We volunteered and/or donated goods or services to the following agencies serving the community.We counseled entire family members of drowning victims.Mentor Me North Georgia, The united Way of Forsyth County, Family Promise, Emergency Dive Response Team, We did classroom education through the Forsyth County WITH Program and Forsyth County Schools where we taught roughly 90 students how to properly navigate through a challenge. These weekly classes throughout the school year varied in class size and curriculum with an average of 30 kids per class.
