NCC seeks to build community engagement. They offered five pancake breakfasts to the community in 2024, serving over 600 people of all ages. These breakfasts offered opportunities for youth volunteerism, senior meal support, and community engagement. The breakfasts also offered opportunities for discussions and petitions for town meeting and other business in the community. Other seasonal offerings included First and Last Day school celebrations reaching approximately 200 children and their parents as well as a March Sugaring Party, a spring Seed and Tool Swap, and Halloween events. NCC works with local nonprofits to encourage collaboration. The Grange Hall hosted several nonprofits in the Norwich Grange Hall including the Norwich Historical Society and Norwich Conservation Commission which spent six months creating a new community mural and the Norwich Boy Scouts who held an awards ceremony.
