Perdido Community Vision Advocacy
Perdido Community Vision Advocacy. This program brings together Perdido residents civic leaders and organizations to identify community priorities and advocate for shared goals. Activities include administering surveys hosting community forums and conducting research on local issues. Insights gathered are used to promote policies that reflect community values focusing on land use infrastructure and environmental preservation. Operation NC Mountain Relief. In the wake of Hurricane Helenes devastation in Black Mountain NC the organization mobilized funds and community support to assist with recovery efforts. A portion of the funds was used to purchase critical supplies including food and water which were combined with locally donated items and delivered via relief truck to the area. Remaining funds were donated to trusted nonprofit partners Hearts with Hands and Black Mountain Home for Children supporting long-term recovery.
