  • Ocean Protection and Education

    We strive to protect the ocean and all the life it sustains. A healthy ocean is one of our best defenses against climate change. Protecting the ocean and biodiversity ensures our own survival. We aim to educate people about the ocean and the urgent need to protect this vital ecosystem. This includes researching and reporting on the impacts that industrializing 1400 square miles of ocean waters with 1000 plus turbines off the coast of RI and MA will impose on this fertile yet fragile ecosystem. We fund a legal startegy which includes community outreach including PR activities including social media, a rally, a speaker event in Newport, the Newport Boatshow, and a monthly newsletter.
