Sovereign Energy Capacity Building
Capacity constraints hinder energy development in Tribal Nations, making capacity-building essential for energy sovereignty. Sovereign Energy empowers Tribes through initiatives like technical support, policy guidance, and project planning to enhance their renewable energy leadership. We help Tribes overcome mistrust from historical energy exploitation, offering free assistance on everything from project development to regulatory navigation. Our goal is to enable Tribes to achieve energy independence, foster economic growth, and create healthier communities, while also increasing Indigenous representation in the broader energy sector.GeographiesNot indicatedDatesJan 1, 2023 – Dec 31, 2023Source990No causes providedNo populations provided–$5.6KIndigenous Energy Education Initiatives
