Programs
Feral Cat Spay/Neuter and Vaccination Program
In the 2024-2025 tax cycle we raised $7352 in funds to support our goal of paying for spay/neuter surgery and vaccinations. We helped 92 feral cats, including 54 females and 38 males. We also supported foster care and homing for 12 feral kittens. We aligned our goals to conform with the guidelines of the local Inyo County Animal Shelter.GeographiesNot indicatedDatesJul 1, 2024 – Jun 30, 2025Source990No causes providedNo populations provided–$0TNR and Foster Care for Cats
We funded TNR or foster care for 92 cats in 2023-2024. Of the total, 54 were female spays, 38 were male castrations. The number includes 11 kittens, and two cats were humanely euthanized. Female cats can have up to four litters a year, which translates into at least 216 fewer kittens born in the Owens Valley in 2024-2025. We raised $7352, 30% less than the previous year, and at the same time cared for 30% more cats compared to the previous year. With only $5 left in our account, we will be seeking larger fundraising opportunities in 2025-2026.GeographiesNot indicatedDatesJul 1, 2024 – Jun 30, 2025Source990No causes providedNo populations provided–$0
