Basketball Coaching and Development
Basketball Teams- In 2024, our basketball teams had 225 different participants between the spring, summer, and fall seasons. We provided developmental and high level coaching, quality facilities for practices and games (fall league only), and built intentional relationships with our athletes, families, and coaches. In our practices, in addition to skill and "basketball IQ", we had lessons on character, life, and relationships from a biblical perspective. Additionally, we held recurring coaching development meetings to equip our coaches for their roles. There was an even split of practical coaching conversations and Bible study over the topics we would share in practice with our players. In addition to providing the space for practice, equipment, and needed insurance, we also have travel costs, tournament and league entry fees, uniform costs, etc.GeographiesNot indicatedDatesJan 1, 2024 – Dec 31, 2024Source990No causes providedNo populations provided–$54.5KAthlete Training Programs
Trainings (basketball, fitness, and pickleball)- In our group trainings we worked with boys and girls ages 8-19 all year long. In total, over 200 different athletes attended multiple training sessions with us. We equip our trainers with an outline for the structure of their training - Fired Up conversation/life check-in, prayer, skill work, message/lesson on one of our three values (Character, Community, Competition), competitive segment, put-ups (acknowledging and celebrating something great that someone else did). Our trainers then planned the specific activities inside that framework. We rent the facilities and provide all equipment needed as well as carry the necessary insurance for our activities.GeographiesNot indicatedDatesJan 1, 2024 – Dec 31, 2024Source990No causes providedNo populations provided–$61.4KExperiential Learning Events
Experiential learning/adventure events- In 2024 we were able to provide unique team building and experiential learning challenges for approximately 100 people. We do these activities in partnership with other organizations to help them achieve their desired outcomes. We do this voluntarily, as a way of serving and helping other organizations with a similar mission. We plan and facilitate a segment of a larger event that aligns with our mission. In 2024 we planned and facilitated two different team challenges for college-aged leadership organizations and one for a high school youth ministry. Additionally, we facilitated several in person training (classroom) courses for other sports ministry leaders from across North America. We do not have expenses for this portion of our work is minimal as we often reuse materials or have supplies that are household items.GeographiesNot indicatedDatesJan 1, 2024 – Dec 31, 2024Source990No causes providedNo populations provided–$0
