  • Fresh Help Maui Food Initiative

    This past year at Fresh Help Maui has been nothing short of transformative. Together, weve distributed thousands of healthy meals to food insecure families across the island, reaching communities impacted by the Lahaina fires, houseless populations, kupuna, and keiki. We launched a keiki meal initiative at local farmers markets, making nutritious meals more accessible to our youngest community members while supporting local farmers and food producers. Through our fish co-op program, we partnered with local fishers, many of whom lost their livelihoods in the fires, to purchase and process their catch, ensuring both economic recovery and protein- rich nourishment for families in need. With the help of dedicated volunteers and community partners, weve created a sustainable model of food justice that supports our aina, our people, and our future.
