The Ops Center facilitated 2 in-person Workshops last year and provided public reports from the outcomes of both Workshops. In the first Workshop, participants explored real-world applications for inverter based resources, discussed emerging operational challenges, and examined the best practices for safely integratingBESS into utility systems. During the second Workshop, attendees shared innovative approaches to integrating distributed energy resources (DERs) while enhancing load forecasting accuracy. The discussions emphasized data exchange and interconnection challenges, fostering alignment between grid modernization goals and regulatory frameworks.
