  • Program 1 [2024]

    Description: The Farm is a business incubator that provides land water access technical training and wrap-around support services for start-up farm businesses. Operating on 35 acres in Bennett Colorado the program is designed to enhance farm viability and strengthen the local food system. Accomplishments: In the reporting year The Farm supported seven farm businesses equipping them with the resources needed to develop profitable operations expand market access and foster community connections through workshops workdays and informal gatherings. As the land manager The Lab led farm cleanup efforts while initiating development of a site plan including an improvement survey platt. Additionally the program launched a community-driven master planning process to explore the integration of affordable housing with agricultural operations reinforcing long-term stability for farmers in the incubator program.
