Comprehensive Primary Care Services
Primary Care Services: Healthy Family Services of Texas provided comprehensive primary care services to underserved individuals and families, regardless of ability to pay. The organization has now served approximately 500 unique patients and completed over 1,300 patient visits in the past year. Services included preventive care, chronic disease management, wellness exams, and acute care visits. The clinic operates on a sliding fee scale to increase accessibility for uninsured and underinsured individuals in the Lewisville area. Federally Qualified Health Center Look-Alike Development:In preparation for Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) Look-Alike designation, Healthy Family Services of Texas invested in capacity building, including strategic planning, compliance implementation, community needs assessments, and administrative infrastructure. These efforts lay the groundwork for expanded services, improved patient access, and sustainable funding models aligned with HRSA requirements.Service Expansion: Womens Health, Pediatrics, and Behavioral Health:The organization initiated the development of integrated care programs, including OB/GYN and behavioral health services. This expansion is designed to meet significant unmet needs in the region.
