Long term alcohol and drug addiction recovery:Lighthouse Recovery Ministries Inc. (commonly known as The Hope Center, or the Lighthouse Hope Center) is a long-term alcohol and drug addiction recovery residence that follows the 12 steps of Alcoholics Anonymous. These steps have been expanded to include additional Bible study, prayer and related group discussion to enhance the spiritual aspects of the recovery process. The participants are full time residents, and are not permitted to have any employment until after their first 90 days of participation has been satisfactorily completed. Residents are responsible for repaying their own food costs. All other operating costs are funded by donations from middle Georgia residents, many of whom are actively involved in this recovery process.
