    Support of Local Cancer and Youth Programs: The Foundation awarded a $7,724 grant to the Cancer Care Fund of the Good Samaritan Hospital Foundation to benefit cancer patients and a $5,000 grant to the local Boys & Girls Club's Dr. Ken & Dot Johnson Center for Youth Excellence. The Johnson Center provides after-school programming space for up to 300 teens on a daily basis, medical and mental health services for nearly 2,000 local low-income youth and families, and aims to support the Club's 100% graduation goals for at-risk teens, provide job skills training, apprenticeships and first-time employment experiences.
