Self-Help Housing and Community Development
Self-Help housing Assisted 44 families in completing the construction of their new homes. 80 other families were in the process of construction as of June 30, 2022.Home buyer Assistance Program 27 families received secondary mortgage financing to help them purchase homes.Rehabilitation 62 families received financing and assistance in the rehabilitation or reconstruction of their homes. An additional 23 families were assisted with emergency home repairs (12) or domestic well financing (11).Multifamily Housing 288 Multifamily units were added to SHE's portfolio; 2,028 low-income housing families reside in 45 affordable rental housing projects developed and sponsored by Self-Help Enterprises. Four projects are currently under construction.
