We send 30+ medical teams with approximately 300 volunteers to Hospital de la Familia each year. These volunteers provide clinical and surgical care to patients, and educational training to medical providers in an impoverished area of western Guatemala. The hospital treats approximately 20,000 patients each year. The main focus areas are general surgical care, vision care, and maternal and child health.
