    School Programs - This program includes the acclaimed Storybridge literacy program serving low income elementary schools; elder storytellers and teaching artists introduce children to storytelling, oral history, story creation, writing based on interviews with family elders, and performances of stories before audiences of peers and families; storytelling assembly programs featuring elder storytellers and master storytellers from the Bay Area.   • Program 3 [2018]

    Public Performance Program - Stagebridge creates and produces new plays for young and adult audiences. For youth and families, we offer a "Grandparent's Tales" production, based on literature exploring inter-generational themes, performed by Stagebridge actors and youth recruited from the community and presented for family audiences in Oakland and Redwood City. Stagebridge also offers work for adult audiences created by notable playwrights, performed by professional actors and selected Stagebridge actors, presented at Bay Area theatre venues.
