[Re]build Days Initiative
[Re]build Days: RTP partners with community sponsors to provide larger, more complex repairs (fences, wheelchair ramp installations for elderly and disabled homeowners, major debris removal) in April and October for an average of 30 low-income homeowners and nonprofit agencies throughout San Mateo and Northern Santa Clara Counties. These repairs provide increased safety and health for hundreds of members of the community each year and are carried out with the support of over 700 volunteers annually.GeographiesNot indicatedDatesOct 1, 2021 – Sep 30, 2022Source990No causes providedNo populations provided–$669.1KSafe at Home Repairs
Safe at Home (SAH): In response to critical home repair needs that arise throughout the year, RTP manages smaller projects on an ongoing basis to address immediate health and safety concerns with safety repairs, such as installing grab bars, repairing unsafe flooring, installing smoke detectors, fixing lighting, and more. The program currently serves 100 low-income homeowners annually with the support of staff, AmeriCorps members, and a handful of skilled volunteers.GeographiesNot indicatedDatesOct 1, 2021 – Sep 30, 2022Source990No causes providedNo populations provided–$561.9KSpecial Projects Program
