  • Support for Survivors of Trauma

    PROVIDE 24-HOUR SUPPORT TO SURVIVORS OF SEXUAL ASSAULT/ABUSE, AND OTHER TRAUMA, AND THEIR SIGNIFICANT OTHERS IN SAN MATEO COUNTRY THROUGH A CRISIS LINE STAFFED BY CERTIFIED SEXUAL ASSAULT COUNSELORS. OFFER ACCOMPANIEMENT, ADVOCACY, INDIVIDUAL, AND GROUP COUNSELING (SHORT AND LONG TERM) AND VIOLENCE PREVENTION EDUCATION AS WELL AS COUMMUNITY OUTREACH, PERFORMED CRISIS INTERVENTIONS, IN-PERSON INDIVIDUAL AND GROUP COUNSELING TO SURVIVORS AND FAMILY MEMBERS. HELD VIOLENCE PREVENTION AND COMMUNITY OUTREACH WORKSHOPS FOR MIDDLE SCHOOLS, HIGH SCHOOLS, COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS AND OTHER SERVICE PROVIDERS.

  • Program 1 [2025]

    Provide 24-hour support to survivors of sexual assault/abuse, and other trauma, and their significant others in San Mateo County through a crisis line staffed by certified sexual assault counselors. Offer accompaniment, advocacy, individual, and group counseling (short and long term) and violence prevention education as well as community outreach, performed crisis interventions, in-person individual and group counseling to survivors and family members. Held violence prevention and community outreach workshops for middle schools, high schools, community organizations and other service providers.
