Visitor Education and Enrichment Programs
In addition to its extensive visitor tour program, the Los Angeles County Arboretum & Botanic Garden offers activities and events that cater to every audience, serving over 500,000 visitors a year. Adult education programs provide instruction in horticulture, the natural sciences, and environmental stewardship practices for use in home, school, and community gardens. Home to one of the worlds finest collections of Mediterranean and subtropical plants, the 127-acre Los Angeles County Arboretum & Botanic Garden serves as an important repository for species of biological and economic importance. In agreement with Los Angeles County, the Foundation is responsible for the admissions, filming, weddings and site rentals.
