Young Artist Concert
Young Artist Concert: Held at the Southwest High School Jimmie Cannon Theater for the Performing Arts on June 1, 2024. The concert highlighted six musicians who each performed a solo concerto from famous composers. Many other young students from around the county performed as well. The audience was about 300. The Association presented each of the six musicians a $500 scholarship. The concert celebrateed the 51st season of the nonprofit Imperial Valley Symphony Orchestra. 85 musicians performed, all from the community. The audience was about 250.
