Mental Health Support and Education Programs
As the service provider for the Orange County WarmLine Programs, sponsored by the County of Orange and the Los Angeles DMH, NAMI Orange County handled calls received through this telephone based, non-crisis hot line for anyone struggling with mental health. Between NAMI OC Signature Programs, Transitional Age Youth & Young Adult Services, Crisis Intervention Training, plus our hospital programs with Hoag Hospital and Kaiser Permanente, we delivered over 300 individual programs and served approx. 8,200 participants. Our Warmline Services handled over 125,000 calls, chats and texts. Our Annual NAMIWalks was held in November with approx. 3,500 people in attendance.NAMI Orange County's Education and Presentation Programs: in person and virtual classes continued to be held on general mental health issues and symptoms, school outreach, and stigma reduction. NAMI Orange County provided support group sessions at numerous different locations for participants and community outreach events to individuals in many locations throughout Orange County.
