Provide funding for youth, adult and senior Jewish community educational programs, including Holocaust education, both locally and in Israel.Provide funding for Hillel of Cal-State Channel Islands for educational and social programs.Provide tickets to the Museum of Tolerance in Los Angeles for participating 8-grade public school students. We have sent over 100,000 students since 1994. Provide low-cost, non-sectarian counseling through our social service agency, Jewish Family Service to individuals, couples and families. Provide case management for Seniors and Holocaust survivors.Provide free counseling for victims of the Thomas Fire.Provide case management services on behalf of United Way and FEMA for victims of disaster and represent the Federation on Ventura County Long-Term Disaster Recovery Group.Operate a free legal clinic to those in need.Provide Ventura County Unified School District counseling services for under privileged students.Fund Foodshare and Family to Family programs to help those who are hungry. Provide and distribute weekly food boxes and monthly hot breakfasts.
