PROPOSALS SHOULD INCLUDE: A LETTER WITH INFORMATION ABOUT BOTH THE ORGANIZATION AS A WHOLE AND PROJECT IN PARTICULAR; A 501(C)(3) TAX DETERMINATION LETTER FROM THE IRS; A BUDGET FOR BOTH THE ORGANIZATION AS A WHOLE AND THE PROJECT IN PARTICULAR; THE MOST RECENT AUDITED FINANCIAL STATEMENTS; A COPY OF THE MOST RECENT 990 FILED WITH THE IRS; AND A LIST OF THE CURRENT BOARD OF DIRECTORS. ANY ADDITIONAL MATERIALS, SUCH AS ANNUAL REPORT, MAY BE ATTACHED. PROPOSALS SHOULD BE SUBMITTED ONLINE AT WWW.JDROWN.ORG.

THE FOUNDATION GENERALLY DOES NOT UNDERWRITE ANNUAL MEETINGS, CONFERENCES OR SPECIAL EVENTS, NOR DOES IT FUND RELIGIOUS PROGRAMS OR PURCHASE TICKETS TO FUNDRAISING EVENTS. MOST OF THE FOUNDATION'S GRANTMAKING IS LIMITED TO PROGRAMS OR ORGANIZATIONS WITHIN THE LOS ANGELES AREA.
