    The Magnetawan Watershed Land Trust conserves land through acquistion and conservation easement. In 2020 the Land Trust continues to fullfill our mission with a portfolio of lands for future acquistion that would include a diversity of ecological habitats worth conserving despite of the covid-19 restrictions.

    The Magnetawan Watershed Land Trust provides environmental education opportunities. In 2020, MWLT offered four online presentaions due to Covid restrictions. We provided a monthly nature article to the Almaguin newspaper and the Great North Arrow and produced a regularly published newsletter with over 400 people subscribing.
