Radical Return Program
Radical Return - The Radical Return Program is an annual weekend-long wellness immersion program set in the Pacific Northwest nature, focusing on providing a restorative experience through partnerships. In 2024, Radical Return had 9 attendees. Overall, our three programs conducted 13 events, serving a total of 190 unique individuals, with 95% of the people served being BIPOC. The demographics of those served included 42% Black, 18% Latinx, 9% multiracial, 5% Indigenous, 18% Asian, 2% Swanna, and 5% White. Village Lab Salon - Village Lab Salon is an in-person wellness workshop series that utilizes experiential education and exercises, trauma-informed somatics, and Theater of the Oppressed approaches to center care, witnessing, reciprocal support, skill sharing, spiritual vibrancy, uplift, and communal resilience. In 2024, VLS had 53 attendees. Overall, our three programs conducted 13 events, serving a total of 190 unique individuals, with 95% of the people served being BIPOC. The demographics of those served included 42% Black, 18% Latinx, 9% multiracial, 5% Indigenous, 18% Asian, 2% Swanna, and 5% White. SLCP - Somatic Liberation Community Partners partners with other nonprofits and community organizations in the Portland metro area to provide trauma-informed education and experiential healing justice work to BIPOC communities.
