Invocation, Priests chant specific mantras to invoke the deity into the idol. Infusion of life: The core ritual where the "prana" (life force) is believed to be transferred into the idol through specific chants and offerings. Opening the eyes: Often, the eyes of the idol are symbolically opened during the Pran Pratishtha ceremony, signifying the deity's awareness. Significance:This ceremony marks the moment when an idol becomes a living deity, allowing devotees to connect with the divine presence in the temple. Rituals involved:Shobha Yatra: A procession where the idol is paraded around the temple premises to gather devotion from the community.
