Parent Artist Advocacy League Growth
Over 2024-2025, the Parent Artist Advocacy League has grown in so many powerful ways that honored our roots and laid the groundwork for even more engagement with our community to create and provide a culture of care. PAAL evolved from a fiscally sponsored project into an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofita milestone that laid the groundwork for deeper impact. PAAL launched the LaNeshe Miller-White BIPOC Org Care Fund after awarding the fund's namesake the Leader in Care Award in recognition of her long history of creating spaces where caregiver artists can thrive. PAAL offered an ever-increasing number of childcare matinees across the country and in some cities began pairing with organizations like Philadelphia Young Playwrights inviting the children being cared for to build stories together based on the plays their caregivers where attending. We also found new ways to structure our programming for organizations to provide more community-building year-round and build an even stronger Chief Representative program. Our work has been embraced by so many incredible people and supported in so many ways, we are grateful that this community continues to grow even as we face new challenges and find new ways to connect with one another.GeographiesNot indicatedDatesJun 1, 2024 – May 31, 2025Source990No causes providedNo populations provided–$40.6K
