THE PHYSICIANS SUPPORT ACADEMIC ENRICHMENT TO THE EDUCATIONAL AND RESEARCH PROGRAMS OF THE OHIO STATE UNIVERSITY COLLEGE OF MEDICINE AS WELL AS CHARITY CARE TO SUPPORT THE CLINICAL MISSION OF OSU INCLUDING PROVIDING CARE TO INDIVIDUALS THAT MAY NOT BE ABLE TO AFFORD CARE. ADDITIONALLY THEY SUPPORT PATIENTS THAT ARE A PART OF THE MEDICARE / MEDICAID PROGRAMS BY ACCEPTING PAYMENTS FOR SERVICES THAT ARE LESS THAN COST.
