WE SERVE MEN, WOMEN AND CHILDREN OF ALL AGES, RACES, ABILITIES, INCOMES, NATIONAL ORIGINS AND RELIGIONS. WE PROVIDE FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO THOSE WHO NEED IT. WE IDENTIFY NEEDS WITHIN OUR COMMUNITY AND RESPOND TO THEM SO THAT THE ENTIRE COMMUNITY BENEFITS FROM OUR EFFORTS. THE BASIC OBJECTIVE OF THE YMCA OF SPRINGFIELD IS TO AID IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF A CHRISTIAN STANDARD OF LIVING, CONDUCT AND LIFE PURPOSE IN ITS MEMBERS AND CONSTITUENCY. IN THE ATTAINMENT OF THIS GOAL, THE YMCA SEEKS TO PROMOTE THE PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND COMMON GOOD, RESPECT FOR PERSONALITY AND THE APPLICATION OF THE GOLDEN RULE IN HUMAN RELATIONSHIPS.
