The Carolinas Golf Association is a nonprofit service organization established in 1909, dedicated to conducting championships and tournaments for amateur golfers in North and South Carolina, while also administering the USGA handicap system and supporting its membership of over 200,000 golfers across more than 700 member clubs and associations. With an operating budget of $8.8 million and total revenue of $9.5 million for the 2024 filing year, the organization is significantly supported by major funders, including Fidelity Investments Charitable Gift Fund and National Christian Charitable Foundation Inc.
