THE MISSION OF KC SCHOLARS IS TO INCREASE POSTSECONDARY EDUCATION ATTAINMENT IN THE GREATER KANSAS CITY AREA. BY DOING SO, KC SCHOLARS WILL IMPROVE THE EDUCATIONAL ATTAINMENT, ECONOMIC INDEPENDENCE, QUALITY OF THE WORKFORCE, AND PARTICIPATION IN COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES IN GREATER KANSAS CITY.
