Mission Statement
THE MISSION OF CAED IS TO ACTIVELY EDUCATE THE VOTING PUBLIC AND KEY DECISION MAKERS ON SPECIFIC VOTING ISSUES RELATED TO ELECTRICITY DEREGULATION WITH A PARTICULAR EMPHASIS ON BALLOT ACCESS AND BALLOT REFERENDUMS. CAED SEEKS TO ACHIEVE THIS MISSION THROUGH PROGRAMS FOCUSED ON VOTER OUTREACH, VOTER EDUCATION, AND VOTER REGISTRATION AS WELL AS BY SUPPORTING AND/OR OPPOSING STATE BALLOT REFERENDUMS WHICH SEEK TO ALTER THE REGULATION OF ELECTRICITY.
