Mission Statement
TO SUPPORT VARIOUS PROJECTS INTENDED TO IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF LIFE AND HOUSING FOR DISTRESSED OR UNDERSERVED COMMUNITIES IN NEW YORK STATE, AND IN PARTICULAR NEW YORK CITY. SUCH PROJECTS WILL INCLUDE PROGRAMS AND MATERIALS DESIGNED TO EDUCATE THE GENERAL PUBLIC REGARDING HOUSING ISSUES, PARTICULARLY WITH RESPECT TO THE LEGAL AND BUREAUCRATIC SYSTEMS GOVERNING HOUSING AND HOW TO NAVIGATE THEM. THE ORGANIZATION HOPES TO ONE DAY FACILITATE ACADEMIC CONFERENCES WHERE RESEARCHERS CAN DISCUSS PROBLEMS RELATING TO HOUSING IN DISTRESSED AND UNDERSERVED COMMUNITIES AND SHARE POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS.
