Acadia Trails Forever Project
Friends of Acadia makes grants from its Acadia Trails Forever project fund to the ANP trails program to maintain the park's 153 miles of trails. In 2024, the Trail crew reconstructed sections of the Ocean Path that were significantly damaged by winter storms. They also rehabilitated sections of the Bubbles Divide Trail and the Great Meadow Loop, and they repaired treads and drainage along the Beech Mountain Trail, Beech Cliffs Loop, Seaside Path, Duck Brook Connector, Kane Path, and Great Head Trail.GeographiesNot indicatedDatesJan 1, 2024 – Dec 31, 2024Source990No causes providedNo populations provided–$510.8KCarriage Road Maintenance Grants

In 2024, the carriage road crew patched washouts, graded 15 miles of carriage roads, and spread 300 tons of surface materials.
