NORTH AMERICA: THE NORTH AMERICA ADVOCACY TEAMS HAVE KEPT LASER FOCUSED ON ONE'S LONG-TERM MISSION WHILE SWIFTLY RESPONDING TO THE FAR-REACHING IMPACTS OF THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC. IN CANADA, ONE WORKED WITH COALITION PARTNERS TO ADVOCATE IN SUPPORT OF INCREASING FUNDING FOR THE OFFICE OF DEVELOPMENT ASSISTANCE (ODA), INTERNATIONAL COVID TESTING, THERAPEUTICS, AND VACCINES, AND GAVI, THE VACCINE ALLIANCE. IN THE UNITED STATES, OVER 160 ACTIVISTS PARTICIPATED IN THE POWER SUMMIT IN WASHINGTON, DC, WHERE THEY WERE TRAINED ON PUBLIC SPEAKING, LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT, STORYTELLING, DATA TRACKING, AND ISSUES PERTAINING TO OUR MISSION. VIRTUALLY, ONE SHIFTED TO CONDUCTING EDUCATION AND LEADERSHIP PROGRAMS ONLINE, AND ADVOCATING FOR FUNDING A GLOBAL RESPONSE TO COVID IN THE US SUPPLEMENTAL EMERGENCY COVID PACKAGES. IN THE SECOND HALF OF THE YEAR, (RED)'S WORLD AIDS DAY CAMPAIGN RALLIED PARTNERS IN A CAMPAIGN THAT OFFERED MORE THAN 200 PRODUCTS, INCLUDING NEW DEVICES FROM APPLE AND AMAZON. A NUMBER OF CELEBRITIES ALSO JOINED FORCES WITH (RED) TO RAISE MONEY ON CAMEO, WITH NAMES INCLUDING MADELYN CLINE, PHOEBE ROBINSON AND ANDREW ZIMMERN. CATALYTIC FUNDING FROM (RED) SUPPORTER MERCK EXTENDED THE CAMPAIGN'S REACH FURTHER. EUROPE: IN 2020, ONE TEAMS IN EUROPE CAMPAIGNED SPECIFICALLY FOR VACCINE EQUITY AND A FITTING ECONOMIC RESPONSE IN THE MIDST OF THE GLOBAL PANDEMIC. AHEAD OF KEY PLEDGING MOMENTS, WE RAISED AWARENESS AMONG THE PUBLIC, MEDIA, AND POLICY MAKERS IN DIFFERENT EUROPEAN COUNTRIES ABOUT THE CONSEQUENCES OF THE PANDEMIC IN LOW INCOME COUNTRIES. IN BRUSSELS, WE WORKED WITH CIVIL SOCIETY PARTNERS AND THE EUROPEAN COMMISSION TO LAY THE FOUNDATION, MOBILIZING OUR YOUTH AMBASSADORS AND SUPPORTERS TO PRESS EUROPEAN COMMISSION PRESIDENT URSULA VON DER LEYEN ON AMBITIOUS FINANCIAL AND POLICY COMMITMENTS THROUGH AN OPEN LETTER. THIS, TOGETHER WITH EMAIL AND TWITTER ACTIONS TAKEN BY OUR SUPPORTERS AND YOUTH AMBASSADORS, SECURED COMMITMENTS TO SHARE VACCINE DOSES AND TO MAINTAINING HEALTH AND HUMAN DEVELOPMENT AS LASTING GOALS IN THE EU'S FORTHCOMING PROGRAMMING PRIORITIES.FRANCE DIRECTOR NAJAT-VALLAUD-BELKACEM'S LARGE ONLINE PRESENCE PROVIDED US WITH AN OPPORTUNITY TO ENGAGE HER AUDIENCE WITH A SERIES OF VIDEOS, EXPLAINING OUR ONE WORLD CAMPAIGN. ADDITIONALLY, WE DELIVERED AN OPEN LETTER FROM YOUTH AMBASSADORS TO PRESIDENT EMMANUEL MACRON AHEAD OF THE PLEDGING CONFERENCE HOSTED BY THE EU TO SUPPORT ACCELERATION OF DOSE SHARING. IN GERMANY, GREAT ARTISTS AND TALENT GOT INVOLVED THROUGH THE #PASSTHEMIC INITIATIVE, SECURING LARGE MEDIA ATTENTION, INCLUDING OVER 160 WIRE PIECES AND GREAT ONLINE ENGAGEMENT.
