Emergency Stabilization & Homeless Prevention Programs
Our four area offices are central to programs that offer essential support and financial aid, within the limits of available resources. The dedicated staff at our offices in Leominster, Milford, Southbridge, and Worcester are committed to assisting individuals and families in addressing the underlying factors that have led to insecurities in areas such as food, housing, and socioeconomic stability. Through our case management approach, we strive to help clients stabilize their immediate circumstances, address pressing safety concerns, acquire valuable budgeting skills and resource management techniques, plan for further education or secure stable job placements, and collaboratively work to progress towards self-sufficiency. Our services for these programs include our food pantries and food assistance referrals, Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program Outreach Project (SNAP) referrals and sign ups, financial literacy programs, clothing closets, and rental/utility/co-pay assistance.GeographiesWorcester County, MA, USA;Worcester, MA, USA;Leominster, MA, USA;Milford, MA, USA;Southbridge, MA, USADatesNot indicatedSourceUser-generatedFood security,Foreclosure prevention,Housing loss prevention,Free goods distribution,Homeless services,Public assistanceAge groups,Cultural Heritage,Ethnic and racial groups,Family relationships,Gender and sexual identity,Health,Religious groups,Social and economic status,Work status and occupations45K–Recovery Programs
