Early Childhood Strategy
Our vision for the Early Childhood strategy is that all children in Greater Boston are prepared to thrive in school and life. Our three primary areas of focus include: promoting pediatric parent engagement, supporting a high-quality pre-K workforce, and strengthening the early childhood ecosystem.GeographiesMassachusetts, USADatesNot indicatedSourceUser-generatedEarly childhood educationChildren,Infants and toddlers––Latino Equity Fund
The Latino Equity Fund (formerly the Latino Legacy Fund), a unique partnership between local Latino leaders and the Boston Foundation (TBF), is the first Latino-focused fund in the Commonwealth. The Latino Equity Fund (LEF) uses its influence and platform to amplify diverse voices and perspectives within the Latino community and beyond in Greater Boston and the state, with a focus on achieving greater and more equitable access to economic prosperity and well-being.GeographiesMassachusetts, USADatesNot indicatedSourceUser-generatedEconomic development,HealthPeople of Latin American descent––The Equality Fund
The Equality Fund at the Boston Foundation was created in 2012 as an endowed fund to support Greater Boston nonprofit organizations that serve and strengthen the LGBTQ community. Stewarded by the Boston Foundation, the Equality Fund's grant-making priorities are guided by an Advisory Committee of community members and allies who possess a depth and breadth of understanding about the most pressing issues affecting LGBTQ people today. Gifts made from the Equality Fund will always go to benefit Greater Boston’s LGBTQ community. This unique fund is already having an impact on the LGBTQ community of Greater Boston, with a focus on innovative programming aimed at pressing and emerging issues.GeographiesBoston, MA, USADatesNot indicatedSourceUser-generatedLGBTQ rightsLGBTQ people––
