Massachusetts Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired
Massachusetts Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired (MABVI) is the largest provider of vision rehabilitation in the state, reaching more than 1,100 adults and elders annually. MABVI’s comprehensive medical-rehabilitative-social service model ensures that seniors who are losing their vision due to age-related disease have access to a full complement of support to remain autonomous, healthy, and active members of their communities. Ivy Street School (ISS) is a Chapter 766-approved private special education program licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. ISS offers both a residential and day program for up to 65 adolescents and young adults (ages 13-22 years).
