STEPRox Recovery Support Center’s mission is to provide a safe place for the recovery community, their family, friends and those interested in recovery. Members engage in activities beneficial to the individual and the community. Our goal is to make a direct contribution to our community by encouraging volunteerism and peer leadership opportunities. Our center is an “empowerment” zone … a place where lost abilities are found, interests discovered, and goals realized. The lived experience of our peers/members and staff in recovery supports the efforts of the newcomer in early recovery to believe that recovery is a reality and it is possible to rebuild and rejoin a life in the community. Based in the heart of Roxbury, STEPRox is a safe haven for anyone 18 and older who has a desire to find pathways to recovery that “fit you”, whether it’s a 12-Step group, All-Recovery group or SMART recovery group. STEPRox also offers specialized groups pertinent to women and men as well as open groups designed to address mental health and healthier eating options.Geographies153-155 Blue Hill Ave, Roxbury, MA 02119, USADatesNot indicatedSourceUser-generatedSubstance abuse preventionAdults,Persons with substance use disorder(s)250–The Hope Center

The Hope Center is run in partnership with the larger Metro-Boston Recovery Learning Community and offers a center with no barrier to access. There is no intake, sign-up, or referral process, and all services are free of charge.
