Family Support Center
The Open Sky Family Support Center is here to support individuals and families in the Blackstone Valley. Navigating the services and supports available to individuals with developmental/intellectual disabilities and Autism can be challenging. The Center's goal is to provide the training, support and advocacy to meet both day-to-day needs and long-term goals. Opened in February 2021, it is a program of Open Sky Community Services, funded by the Department of Developmental Services (DDS). With offices at Alternatives Whitin Mill in Whitinsville, the program supports children and adults with developmental/intellectual disabilities and Autism who live with their families in the communities of Bellingham, Blackstone, Douglas, Franklin, Grafton, Hopedale, Medway, Mendon, Milford, Millville, Millbury, Northbridge, Sutton, Upton and Uxbridge.Geographies70 Douglas Rd, Whitinsville, MA 01588, USADatesNot indicatedSourceUser-generatedAutism,Family disability resources,Developmental disability servicesAge groups,Caregivers,Families,Non-adult children,Parents,People with disabilities––Community Compass
