Communication Treatment for Children and Young Adults
Sargent Centers program involves treatment of children and young adults ages 3-22 with sever to profound communication neurological conditions. The program includes a comprehensive coordinated approach utilizing the skills of special educators speech occupational and physical therapists social workers and psychologists. Each student has an Individual Education Plan and attends school 219 days a year. The goal is to transition the student back to their community school or if older to train the student through activities of daily life to be a productive member of their community. The Center also serves children and young adults with traumatic brain injuries.
