Healthcare Services
Health Care: PPSNE delivers a wide range of sexual and reproductive health care services -- such as birth control, STI testing and treatment, breast and cervical cancer screenings, abortion, and annual GYN exams -- that address disparities in sexual and reproductive health outcomes and reflect the expressed needs of our communities. We offer full scope primary care in Stamford and Hartford, and limited primary care (physicals, flu vaccinations, treatment of common illness/infections, diabetes testing, depression/anxiety screening). Many services can be offered through telehealth. We have a staff of community educators and trainers who reach thousands of youth, adults, parents, educators, and health care workers with vital information on sexual health, relationships, and sexual identity. Education & Training at PPSNE houses its flagship teen peer educator program, STARS (Students Teaching About Responsible Sexuality).
