12-Step Recovery Support
Support 12-Step Recovery programs. Prior to the pandemic, there were roughly 22 - 25 various 12-Step meetings in the Cambria area. The Cambria Connection hosted 18 of these meetings. When the State-wide shelter-in-place mandate was issued, the Connection had already hosted its first online meeting and began offering technical logistical support to help all our 12-step meetings serve participants virtually. Today the Connection facilitates 24 Zoom and "hybrid" (combined in-person and Zoom) meetings. The Connection has reduced its brick-and-mortar footprint (and related expenses) and updated its physical space to safely host in-person meetings with socially distanced seating for up to 30. Health and safety measures are in place that meet or exceed all public health best practices and standards. They include the following: Cleaning and janitorial, Social distancing, Vaccination checks, and Masking. These painstaking safety measures will help ensure that the Connection headquarters is trusted and inviting as we expand in-person program delivery of 12-step meeting and other programs.GeographiesNot indicatedDatesJul 1, 2020 – Jun 30, 2021Source990No causes providedNo populations provided––Community Counseling and Food Security
